Katherine and Walter met in Middleburg early last year... Katherine and Walter walked the dogs together.

Then one good day Walter's cat moved into Katherine's house. Then his dog. And soon there after Walter followed.

As Katherine was chief of rescue for the Middleburg Voluntary Fire Rescue Service Walter got the urge to volunteer.

Together they took medical courses, went on ambulance calls and in the little spare time went for walks, runs, and holidays.
